What does your company do, and how does your role support the company goal?

We support business growth through effective, balance security. My role drives the business forward meeting clients and potential clients while at the same time keeping up to date with all the latest developments in the security sector so that our solutions remain up to date and effective.

What is your career background?

14 years in the British Army, reaching the rank of Sergeant.

Several years as a Security Consultant both in the UK and overseas

What makes your company stand out in your industry/sector?

Currently we are the only company in the UK to provide a complete security solution- Cyber, Physical and Personal. By combining these three disciplines of security, we can provide a more effective solution that is in balance with our client’s business objectives.

What is your proudest achievement since being with the company?

Taking over the running of the business over a year ago and seeing it flourish. And subsequently, being able to take my family on holiday this summer.

What is your top tip for success in business/career?

Have a clear idea of what you want to do and go for it and keep going. Be open and honest and don’t underestimate the power of talking to people.

Why are you passionate about being located in Huddersfield?

As an adopted Yorkshireman, Huddersfield is a fantastic place to live and work. The people are friendly, I mean really friendly, and you are welcomed everywhere you go. It never ceases to surprise me the businesses that are in Huddersfield, it’s quite astounding! And it’s greeted with a modest, yep.

Huddersfield, never knowingly overstated!

What do you enjoy doing when not at work?

Spending time with my family as much as possible. I’m a season ticket holder at the amazing Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club, and an occasional player for the fantastic Kirkheaton Cricket Club. I, also, enjoy taking my boys to watch Town and Giants when I can.
