Name, company and role:

Name: Natasha McCreesh
Company: Business Coach and Consultant
Role: Collaborator

What does your company do, and how does your role support the company goal?

I am a Business Coach and Consultant, working with organisational leaders and their teams to grow strong in their work and life. I collaborate with business owners to define and create the people strategies, upskilling and behaviour shifts that are necessary to achieve personal and business ambitions.

What is your career background?

I led cross functional teams within global corporates for almost 20 years, delivering complex market led projects in buying, product development and brand marketing. I worked in distribution, retail and manufacturing sectors, and since I chose to set up for myself 5 years ago, I have been able to tap into learning absorbed from the different cultures and ways of working experienced over those 20 years.

What makes your company stand out in your industry/sector?

I take a blended approach, combining training, coaching and consultancy which means I can work holistically with an organisation, almost becoming part of their team.

What is your proudest achievement since being with the company?

I have been trusted to work with clients of my clients and I think that speaks volumes, when a client entrusts you with their brand reputation.

What is your top tip for success in business/career?

Choose to do work that brings you joy, once you lose the joy in what you do you will struggle to be successful, so move onto what does bring you joy!

Why are you passionate about being located in Huddersfield?

I wasn’t born here and have no family connection here, but I returned three times throughout my life and have now lived here for 14 years straight so there must be something magnetic about the people and place!

I enjoy the culture of the town, the industrial heritage and the evolution as we explore a new identity beyond that. The ease of access for Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield is great too, but there’s also enough going on here that I don’t need those cities unless I fancy it!

What do you enjoy doing when not at work?

Going to gigs (loads of them!), eating out (curries), listening to (and buying) music, reading books and spending time with people I love.
